Obtaining E-mail Header Data for troubleshooting E-mail Issues
Experiencing delays receiving or sending E-mails? Are your E-mails unintentionally going into your Junk folder, or getting caught in spam filter?
Some times to troubleshoot e-mail problems, we will ask you to provide us header data for your specific email(s). This will help us trace the logs of your E-mails traveling from your inbox to your recipient's side or vice versa.
Using Outlook
1. Open specific E-mail
2. Go to the File tab on the upper left corner and click on the Properties button
3. Highlight and copy all the technical data in the Internet Header box
4. Copy the highlighted data and save it as a word or notepad file
5. Send the file(s) to us
In Outlook Web App (Webmail)
1. Right-click on the email.
2. Go to Message details.
3. Copy the contents and save it as a word or notepad file
4. Send the file(s) to us.
