Microsoft Teams: Introduction
ACIS is proud to offer Microsoft Teams as a communication and collaboration tool for the Anderson community to use.
Access Teams on the Web
Faculty and Staff | Anderson Students
Access Teams from Desktop Program or Mobile App
While Teams can be accessed from any browser (along with the rest of the Microsoft O365 suite), we recommend downloading the desktop client and mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
To sign into Teams desktop and mobile app:
Faculty and Staff: In the Sign In field, use your Anderson email credentials (username @ad.ucla.edu).
Students: In the Sign In field, enter UCLALogon@ucla.edu, where UCLALogon is your UCLA Logon username (the same you use for CCLE).
Teams Features
Teams offers many features that will help improve business outcomes within your unit and within the school as a whole. These features include the following:
Chat
Like Skype for Business, Teams is tied into UCLA’s campus directory, so finding colleagues to chat with is simple. Chats can also be turned into audio/video calls without launching a separate application.
Collaborate
Teams makes it easy to share files within channels so you and your colleagues can better track projects, meeting notes and shared files.
Mobile
In Teams, you can now use your computer and phone together as companions in online meetings to present live mobile video, photos, your mobile screen and PowerPoint.
Teams Training
ACIS is available to provide workshops and trainings to business units wishing to begin leveraging Teams in their workflow. Please reach out to its@anderson.ucla.edu to schedule a consultation. In addition to internal support, Microsoft also offers a mini eBook to get new users started.
