What is AnderBot?
AnderBot is a conversational AI chatbot that is accessible 24x7x365 to answer your Anderson IT related questions as well as create service desk tickets for you and provide the status of your ticket updates. AnderBot understands plain English queries - just as if you were talking to a person.

Feel free to try expressive English questions like “Where is the ACIS walk-up office?” or “How do I connect to Wi-Fi?”

Where can I use AnderBot?
AnderBot is accessible in either Microsoft Teams or Slack. You can use either the desktop or mobile applications - whichever you prefer.

What do I do if I need more help?

Access AnderBot in Slack
Android or iOS
- Launch the Slack app.
- Click on the large + button in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
- Click New Message button.
- Search for AnderBot and click + message AnderBot.
- Type and send the message to AnderBot!
Windows or macOS (first time only)
- Launch the Slack app.
- Make sure that you are in the UCLA Anderson workspace in the upper left corner of the screen.

Click the + Add Apps button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- In the Search field, type "AnderBot" and click on the result.
- AnderBot will be available under Apps in the lower left corner of the screen.

Access AnderBot in Microsoft Teams
Android or iOS
- Launch the Teams app.

Click on the More button and select AnderBot.
- Start asking questions under the Type a message field.
Windows or macOS
- Launch the Teams app.

Click the AnderBot icon on the left navigation menu.
Note: If you don't see AnderBot on the left navigation menu, click Apps and search for AnderBot. Click Open.
