XLSTAT Mac Error "failed to be configured for its first startup"

There is currently an XLSTAT installation issue for Mac users where they are getting the following error message:

This is a known issue with XLSTAT. Follow these steps until it is fixed:

1. Go to Applications in the Finder, right-click on XLSTAT and go to the Package Contents.

2. Go to Contents then MacOS.

3. Double-click on the XLSTAT file.

4. XLSTAT should have opened in Excel by now and you will be able to start it normally next time.

In the event that the issue persists, we kindly request your assistance in resolving it. Please follow these steps:

1. Open Terminal.

2. Type the following command:

installer -package "/Applications/XLSTAT.app/Contents/Library/xlstat-excel2016.pkg" -target "$(installer -package "/Applications/XLSTAT.app/Contents/Library/xlstat-excel2016.pkg" -dominfo | sed 1q)"

3. Press Enter.
