Student Printing & Print Costs

The Anderson School of Management is taking a leadership role in environmental sustainability and we are actively engaged in initiatives that seek to shrink our carbon footprint. We all know that recycling is vital, but it is only part of the solution. Paper consumption continues to escalate as printers and copiers churn out more and more output—a large percentage of which is quickly deposited into recycling bins. To achieve our campus’s green initiatives and meet student requests, we implemented a way to prevent waste from being created in the first place. Our print management system enables students to make responsible printing decisions—to print only what they really wish to and nothing more.

Where to Print
You can print from your laptop or a lab computer to one of the following rooms:

Rosenfeld Library: E2.12, E2.11
Business Centers: A3.03, D2.12

Color Printing

To print in color, you must print from a computer in A3.03 or D2.12.

Print Costs

You are not charged for the allotted print quota. It serves as a way for you to keep track of your printing. Your print quota refreshes per quarter; summer and fall quotas are combined for incoming full-time MBA students.

Printing to a black-and-white printer uses $0.04/page or $0.06/sheet from your quota. Printing to a color printer, whether or not you use color, uses $0.20 from your quota.

How to Print
Note: When sending print jobs on campus, your laptop must be on eduroam.

Print from your laptop or a lab desktop. For B&W printing in D2.12, E2.12, and E2.11, print to 2nd Floor HP Student Printers.
A pop up window will appear. Enter your Anderson username and password.
Go to the print release station, the touch panel near the printer in the desired room.
On the print release station, log in with your Anderson username and password.
Choose which jobs to print. All jobs not printed will disappear from the queue within 8 hours.
